Subject: «Starting a Meeting and Personal Development Group for Young Trans and Gender Diverse Persons 2022 – 2023»
The Greek Transgender Support Association (GTSA), is a voluntary non-governmental organization that promotes the rights and freedoms of trans, gender-diverse and LGBTQI persons in general, knowing the challenges faced daily young trans and gender diverse persons and related to gender expression, gender identity, sex characteristics or sexual orientation, offers the opportunity to those who wish to participate free of charge in the “Meeting and Personal Development Youth Group”.
The “Meeting and Personal Development Youth Group” is a safe space for expression, coexistence and meeting governed by the basic principles of a non-directive Affirmative Person-Centered Approach to gender expression/identity and sexual orientation.
Acceptance – Empathy – Authenticity
Additionally, it is a Neurodiversity affirming and supportive group.
In the Group, all members participate equally and have the opportunity to experience restorative experiences through psychotherapeutic processes in discussions/meetings, group games, artistic activities and anything else that arises and emerges as a need, within the group process.
The meetings will be held at the new place of the GTSA, Evangelistrias 6, in Kallithea Attica, with a frequency of two (2) meetings per month, on a day and time that will be jointly decided with the members during the first meeting of the Group.
First meeting day: Saturday, October 1, 2022 | Time: 17.00 pm
The “Meeting and Personal Development Youth Group” can be joined by all trans and gender-diverse persons up to the age of 25, whether they are members of the Association or not.
Up to 10 persons can participate.
There will be a registration list of persons who have applied.
